E-cigarette compliance requirements in Japan

Japan has banned the sale of electronic atomizers containing nicotine, which contain batteries and therefore need to meet the following requirements.

1. PSE Round certified, lithium battery containing e-cigarettes

2. METI filing. Electronic atomizers containing lithium batteries exported to Japan need to be filed with the importer, namely METI filing

3. Formaldehyde and acetaldehyde content in smoke

4. Nicotine content in tobacco oil

5. Diacetyl content in tobacco oil
